Professor Muhammad Khaleequzzaman has earned MS degree from University of Illinois, Urbana-Champaign, USA. Having served banking sector in senior positions for 25 years, Professor Zaman is engaged currently with School of Islamic Banking and Finance in International Islamic University Islamabad (IIUI) where he holds Associate Professorship and where he has conducted various tasks including curriculum development and placement of academic and training programs in addition to teaching itself. He has been intensely involved in consultancy work for the Islamic banking and finance industry to conduct market researches/product development, capacity building and Shariah advisory. Development of Islamic microfinance facility is one area, Professor Zaman isĀ particularly known for. He has worked on a variety of projects sponsored by national and multilateral organizations including Asian Development Bank, State Bank of Pakistan, World Bank, Government of Pakistan, USAID, Swiss Agency for Development & Cooperation (SDC), Int’l Fund for Agricultural Development (IFAD) and others. At Islamic GDP, he provides strategic guidance to the CEO and also helps supervise the R&D team to ensure that our services are always aligned with best and current practices of the industry.
